A Brief History about Tom Doyle- I have been carving ice for more than 27 years, and have carved in many cities across the USA and Ontario, Canada. Below is some of my experience:
1982 – team captain USA Snow sculpturing competition Milwaukee, WI. This effort was with the Mpls Chamber of Commerce.
1992 – team captain representing Mpls at the International Ice Festival, Harbin, China.
1992-1993 – team captain representing MN at the International Ice Carving Competition, Ankorage, Alaska.
2001 – hired to carve ice sculptures for a VIP event at the Radisson Narita, Japan.
National Exposure: Featured on Regis & Kathie Lee, and Home (a nationally broadcast TV show from Hollywood, CA.)
Local Exposure: Featured on Good Company several times. Mpls St. Paul Magazine, Pioneer Press, Mpls. Tribune, and the local news.
Cost - The total cost for an ice sculpture is about the same per hour as many other professional services.
